We had a great time at Casa Maura with 6 adults, a baby and 2 dogs. The house is well equipped and very clean, we didn't miss anything. Milena and Draško are very kind hosts, we unreservedly recommend the house. (Michael )

Perfect family holday !

We had a wonderful week staying at this lovely property. The facilities were perfect for our family (of 5) holiday. The outside pool area is stunning, inside is very spacious and the beds are extremely comfortable. There is certainly plenty of room for everybody! The hosts (Milena & Draško) have put a lot of effort in setting up each of the rooms with lovely furniture and other knick-knacks on display. They are lovely people and were very friendly and welcoming to us. We also travelled by car to Poreč (30mins), Rovinj (45mins), and we also ventured into Slovenia as well (in fact we flew into Ljubljana and hired a car from there). There are 2 small shops for essentials only 5 mins walk away. I would totally recommend this property to others! 10 out of 10! August 2019 (Kevin from GB )

Comfortable holiday home in a good "central" location

We stayed as a family (2 adults, three small children and a dog) at Casa Maura at the end of August.
The Casa Maura is a bit off the beaten path from the typical mass tourism places, but it is not isolated. For
just right for our taste, since you can go for beautiful walks directly from the house. Within walking distance there are 2 small shops for everyday needs (including bread, sausage, fruit and vegetables). In a few minutes (<5 minutes) you can reach numerous very good restaurants, in about 15 to 20 minutes you can reach many beaches, cities and sights as well as large supermarkets. Due to the location in the hinterland, in a small town, it is much quieter, little traffic on the small street in front of the house and no tourist noise in the evening.
The house is extensively equipped (e.g. several coffee machines, 3 refrigerators, hand mixer, blender, iron, etc.) so nothing is actually missing. The equipment such as the second shower or second kitchen is sometimes simpler, but completely sufficient.
The beds are comfortable, the bedrooms cozy and the rooms overall attractive (especially the attic).
The highlight of the house is certainly the fenced outdoor area with pool, covered terrace (kitchen and dining room) and fireplace. The pool is big enough, clean and the temperature just right. You can also let the children play here.
The two hosts Milena and Drasko (living in the basement) are very friendly and calm. We were warmly welcomed by the hosts and repeatedly provided with homemade delicacies during our stay.
We felt very comfortable in Casa Maura, nothing was missing and we would recommend it immediately!
