Payment and Cancellation

When booking, 30% of the total price must be paid, while the remaining 70% is due no later than 30 days before arrival. In case of cancellation 30 or more days before arrival, 30% of the total reservation price will be charged. For cancellations between 29 days and the day of arrival, or in case of a NO SHOW, 100% of the total reservation price will be charged.

Barban is a small historic town on a plateau separating Labin from Puljština. The ancient Romans lived on a prehistoric hill. Throughout history, Barban was known for its strategic location, which dominated the highlands and dominated the valley and the bridge over the Rasa. In 1535, the Venetian noble family Loredan bought it from the Counts of Pazin, whose members, although they occasionally visited Barban, represented by the captain, demolished the old castle and in the same place a plaque and the parish church of Sv. Nicholas. In front of the big city gate is a small stone church of Sv. 15th century Anton Abt, whose interior is frescoed The most famous historical figure of Barban is the canon Pietro Stancovich (1771 - 1852), author of the book "Biographies of famous Istrians", in which he immortalized 478 Istrian figures.
