Pula - the largest city in Istria, located near the tip of the peninsula. Since Roman times Pula was an administrative center of the region. Pula is the most mysterious and unusual city in Croatia. This is because, above all, its rich history, which strongly influenced the architecture, culture and tradition. Arena amphitheater, built during the reign of Vespasian - one of the biggest coliseums, preserved to this day. Today, there are annual festivals, and the image of the amphitheater decorates more than half of postcards and tourist catalogs of Croatia.
